Course Description

This half-day workshop provides attendees with hands-on experience applying a six-step data integration model (Spilberg & Corey, 2014) to redacted police candidate cases, each including the MMPI-2-RF Police Candidate Interpretive Report (PCIR; Corey & Ben-Porath, 2014), to achieve evidence-based suitability determinations. </span>

Course Objectives

<ol><li>Use the MMPI-2-RF Police Candidate Interpretive Report to inform evidence-based decisions about police candidate suitability</li><li>Integrate MMPI-2-RF PCIR findings with other test data, personal history information and interview findings to produce defensible decisions</li><li>Integrate findings to differentiate candidates whose scores on underreporting scales reflect deception vs. naïve or honest reporting</li><li>Prepare written reports focused on risk-related, evidence-based and job-relevant findings&lt;/span&gt;</li></ol>
