| POST is interested in feedback on the
CD-ROM courses and has developed forms that students can voluntarily
fill out and submit to POST via the Internet. Individual responses
will be anonymous; results from all respondents will be combined for
our analyses.
INTERNET ACCESS VIA THE POST CD-ROM COMPUTER
If your POST computer is connected to the Internet, you can set
up the computer so that students can access the feedback forms automatically
from Manager's Edge, the multimedia training management system on
POST computers. Follow these steps, which need to be performed only
once:
- Log on to the POST computer as Administrator and close the Manager's
Edge Login.
- Connect to the Internet, go to the POST Multimedia Program Downloads
Page.
- Download the GUYO.ZIP file.
- Unzip the GUYO.ZIP file.
- Click the Start button and then click Run.
- Use the browse button on the Run window to locate and run the
GUYO.EXE file.
- Log on to Manager's Edge and assign students to "Give Us
Your Opinion." Refer to the job aid titled Assigning Students
to a Course for how to do this. This job aid is available on the
POST web site: www.post.ca.gov/mtp/job-aids.asp
Students will then be able to select "Give Us Your Opinion"
from the menu of courses in Manager's Edge and access the feedback
forms without having to remember the Internet address.
Please encourage your personnel to take a few minutes to complete
the feedback form after completing a CD-ROM course. Thank you for
