Maria Sandoval was with the Sacramento Police Department for 17 years.  During her time as Sergeant, she worked in every division of the department.  She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Organizational Management, and possesses a lifetime Teaching Credential.  Maria also spent 20 years at a local police academy in various positions including Cultural Diversity, Lead Lifetime Instructor, Recruit Training Officer, and Academy Commander.
