POST, in collaboration with the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office and other public safety entities and colleges, conducts the Public Safety Instructor Symposium. The 24-hour workshop provides updated training on an array of subjects, including adult learning principles, interactive learning techniques, facilitation, multimedia presentations, perishable skills, ethics, training liability, and instructional technology. The instruction is provided primarily by POST-trained master instructors.
