Executive Training & Problem-Solving Workshops

Executive Training & Problem-Solving Workshops may be approved at the request of local law enforcement chief executive groups, based on an application process. Approximately 25 workshops are presented each year at locations statewide.

The workshops may be approved for 16 to 40 hours in duration. These workshops focus on a variety of training topics and/or problem solving for specific issues. Those attending the workshops are eligible to receive Continuing Professional Training (CPT) credit.

Groups needing to schedule a workshop must apply in writing to POST at least 120 days in advance of the scheduled workshop. POST reimburses costs for the workshops to the agency or chief executive group presenting the workshop. Travel and per diem are also reimbursed for those attendees who belong to the POST regular reimbursable program.
