 Management Course Management Course
   

The 104-hour mandated Management Course (Regulation 1005) is designed to assist supervisors transitioning to middle managers and must be completed within 12 months of promoting or being appointed to a middle management position. The learning goals for this course are organized under the following topics:

  • Management Roles and Responsibility
  • Personnel Management Skills
  • Leadership Styles and Decision Making
  • Organization and Manager Development
  • Legal Responsibilities

POST contracts with in CSU Humboldt, CSU Long Beach, CSU San Jose, and San Diego Regional Training Center to present the course. Course sites vary, but are generally held in the following areas:
