 This course gives instructors the chance to practice facilitation and teaching skills in a realistic context, and in the process learn or reinforce their knowledge of adult learning principles and how to implement them. Instructors are placed directly into familiar classroom situations and challenged to make decisions that optimize student engagement and learning. In the process of receiving robust feedback on their choices - both good and bad - instructors will appreciate the true impact of their teaching and realize and rediscover strategies that truly work with adult learners. This course helps meet the requirement for recertification in the Academy Instructor Certificate Program (AICP).
